🌈 February's theme: Feelings & Friendships
This month’s kit supports children to explore emotions, empathy and early friendship skills through rich, hands-on play. Across the four weeks, children will engage in activities such as creating friendship necklaces and kindness crowns, exploring emotions through potion play and feelings matching games, and building social confidence through sharing and turn-taking games.
 
Early learning is gently woven throughout the month with phonics and rhyming activities, numeracy and pattern games, and creative expression through character collages, scratchboard flowers and hands-on craft experiences. Children are also introduced to simple mindfulness and breathing techniques to support calm and emotional regulation.
 
We’ve also partnered with two local businesses to bring you high-quality, sustainable materials. This pack includes a potion fizz mix from Barefoot Potions and a link cube matching busy bag from Open Hand Learning for engaging play.
