Hi, I’m Brie - a Mum, teacher and the founding director and heart behind Little Big School.

I’m a passionate primary school teacher, turned early years project officer, turned small business owner … and my proudest role of all – Mum to Pippa.

​

In 2024, I created Little Big School to bring together everything I’ve learned into play-based, child-centred experiences that support both children and their families.

 

After successfully running a holistic school readiness program in Perth for nearly two years, I launched our At Home Kits so that other families could experience the magic of Little Big School At Home.

​

Because while I’ve always believed children learn best through play…
I also know how overwhelming it can feel to make that happen at home – especially when you’re busy.

​

So I teamed up with a paediatric occupational therapist to create something simple, thoughtful and genuinely helpful.

​

Now, through our At Home Kits, I support families across Australia - helping children learn, play and grow, while giving parents the confidence to nurture their child’s development at home.

​

So you can feel good knowing you’re supporting your child’s learning and development in a meaningful way…
without the stress of figuring it all out yourself.

When I’m not keeping a tiny human alive or dreaming up new kit ideas, you’ll find me enjoying an Aperol spritz (or a chilli marg), eating far too much brie cheese (it’s basically a personality trait), dreaming about the next family holiday destination and chasing after our golden retriever, Macey.
